Plum to the Rescue

plum-organics.jpgOne of the most stressful parts about Violet’s recent extended state of plague was that for the better part of a week she refused bottles and pretty much all solid food, save occasional bites of cheese and blueberries. The logical part of my brain knew that she would eventually drink and eat again, but I was still concerned about dehydration and getting her some calories, particularly because she was so limp and sad and not herself during this time.

During this period, an unexpected little miracle arrived in the mail: samples from Plum Organics. I have known about Plum for a couple of years, but I haven’t purchased starter purees of any kind since I’ve been making baby food (the Beaba Babycook makes it absurdly easy to do so), and at this point, Violet has largely moved on to finger food chunks. However, when I opened the box, I decided to try the purees. Not only had I not seen these yogurt/fruit/veggie and fruit/grain blends before, but it occurred to me that if Violet would actually eat them, she would get a little more fluid in her by way of the liquid content in the purees.

And to my enormous glee and relief, I approached her first with the apple-spinach yogurt blend and she gobbled it up. I also presented some of the apple/raisin/quinoa blend and she gobbled that up too. For the next couple of days, we continued to present her usual foods and she gradually started taking them again, but she readily consumed these purees on each presentation. {Cue angels singing.}

I’m not sure if it was the food novelty factor, the comfort of being spoon fed (as I mentioned, Violet has moved on to finger foods, save yogurt), the taste blend, or something unbeknownst to me (Vi still hasn’t sprouted any teeth, so we wondered whether gum pain and not wanting to mash on solids was contributing to her food rejection), but these products were a saving grace. It was a huge relief to see Violet get some calories, and at the risk of a TMI moment, the liquid content of the purees also helped her on the output side.

Violet is finally back to her usual cheerful self, eating her solids, but we are keeping these pouches on hand as a handy and convenient back up/supplement. I especially like having the fruit and grain blends in our arsenal because other than brown rice and quinoa, I never cook millet, barley, or amaranth so it’s nice to have those grain options in rotation for variety.

As of this writing, these two new Plum products haven’t been fully released in stores. I learned this the hard way when I ran to Whole Foods panicking in dismay in the baby food aisle when this was the only food Violet would eat! After writing the Plum Organics representative who sent the samples, she informed me that the products are available at Toys “R” Us (here are the links for the fruit/veggie/yogurt and fruit/grain blends), then they’ll be available at Target in March, Safeway in April, and Whole Foods later in the spring. We’ve tried every variety except the fruit/grain blend including mango (since we think Vi might be allergic to mango) and all have been consumed happily!

Jon Lester: Right-handed?

Jon Lester bats, throws, and golfs lefthanded. But he signs autographs (and so presumably writes) righthanded. It’s relatively common for baseball players to bat lefty and throw righty (sometimes the only glove around when they’re learning is righthanded, while bats are obviously ambidextous), but I have never heard of someone who writes with their right hand, and does everything else with their left.

Check out the video on Boston.com (Lester starts autographing at about 30 seconds).

Signed with Jon Lester’s right hand.

I Love Boston Project

I think you guys know I love travel, right? Ha ha. I’m having one of those moments though where I realize that I cannot live from one trip to the next. So I think, what do I really love about traveling? I really love planning fun things to do, doing fun things, exploring new places and most importantly I love spending time with whoever I am traveling with. Why can’t I do these things now… when it’s not vacation, even maybe when it’s not a weekend… whoa, a school night? Seriously, I need to always remind myself to appreciate the smaller moments in life.

Enter: The I Love Boston Project. To complete this project, I will do at least one fun activity with someone I love (or at least like a lot) every two weeks and blog about it. Hopefully I’ll do it even more, but I do want to make it realistic. There is no specific end date to this project but I’d like to keep it going at least through the summer. Of course the main purpose of this goal is for me to spend quality time with the lovely people in my life, but I also hope I give you guys some good ideas of things you may want to do if you ever visit me in Boston, or maybe even give you an idea of something you could do in your own city. So for that, I hope you join me and enjoy!

iloveboston.jpg

Here are some of the things I have in mind:

Hiking and Walking. I think I mentioned the other day, I really, really want to do some hiking around Boston. Please make sure I start this, soon. I also really want to do at least part of the Boston HarborWalk.

Brunch and Dinners. I never need to be convinced to visit new restaurants. One thing I really want to do is a trip to the top of the Prudential to eat at Top of the Hub but the question is will I eat brunch or dinner… tough decisions!

Breweries and Wineries. Can you believe I still have never visited Sam Adam’s Brewery?

Shows and Sporting Events. Did you know Chicago’s Second City is coming to Boston in March? Awesome. Plus you know I love my Boston sports. In fact, I think a college hockey game might be first on my list this weekend!

Road Trips. Yes, I know I said Boston, but forgive me if I sometimes extend it to short trips from Boston. I’d really like to see the Portland Maine Lighthouse. As usual, I’ll use the term “Boston” liberally to mean anything you can reasonably get to from Boston.

How do you always make sure to appreciate the ordinary days and not live from one vacation to the next?

A Brunch to Remember: Baker’s Best Catering, Greater Boston Area

Have you ever run into one of those restaurants that you only ate at once, but would still list as one of your favorites? Jack’s of New London, NH was one of those for me…it closed down before I could get back. Baker’s Best Cafe in Newton was also one of those, and it also closed down before I got to go back.

So imagine my excitement when I was approached to set up a brunch for the Boston Brunchers with Baker’s Best Catering! You see, they had closed down the cafe, but only to be able to focus on their thriving catering business.

We were lucky enough to be greeted by owner, Michael Baker, and Chef Phyllis Kaplowitz for the majority of our day. While Chef was busy in the kitchen, Michael gave us a personal tour of the space, which was so much better than you ever imagined a catering space would be.

Before building this space, the catering facilities had been located in the basement of the old cafe. When they decided to build the new location they had military consultants come in and watch and analyze the way the catering staff moved and worked. The result is this perfectly designed, optimized chef’s paradise. Honestly, the staff never has to double their path, they can go from dry goods, to cold storage, to freezers to cooking to packing and out the back door. It is really quite impressive.

Equally as impressive is owner Michael Best’s obvious vigour and love for what he does. From the initial goal of creating a “REAL” turkey sandwich, to now employing over 120 catering staff, chefs, cooks, and administrators, Michael has kept his standards of quality at a peak, and some how instilled an equal passion from his staff.Chef Phyllis Kaplowitz

Chef Phyllis Kaplowitz glowed with every morsel that was introduced to us. Her creativity combined with a certain practicality made for the perfect introduction of passed apps, or “Eye Openers” as they so cutely named them.

Bloody Mary Shots w/ Poached Shrimp, Pickled Green Beans and a Celery Salt Rim…joined by Liz of www.eatingplaces.wordpress.com

A couple of the bites that followed have now joined my list of some of the best things that I have ever eaten. The Asian Tuna Tartar in a miso sesame cup with siracha aioli, wasabi greens, and soy pearls had a texture unlike anything I had eaten…in a good way!  The sweet potato corned beef hash in a maple brown sugar bacon cup was delicious, but paled next to the other bites. However, more than one bruncher did declare this their favorite bit.

Clockwise: Everything Bagel Bite, Tuna Tartar, Sweet Potato Hash

But now it is time to talk about the bite that I will be dreaming about from here until the end of time….The Everything Bagel Bite. A moment of silence please….This bite was made up of a crunchy everything bagel cup filled with creme fraiche, gravlax, red onion, lemon pearls and frisee. The way the textures and flavors came together in this bite…it was honestly one of my greatest food bites ever.
We returned to the dining room (which was actually Michael’s office decorated by Peterson Party Center). We were delighted to find that the remainder of our meal would be a Chef’s Sideboard Buffet served right in the middle of the kitchen! What an experience! We helped ourselves to quiches, beet ravioli stuffed with queso valdeon and challah french toast with bananas foster, fresh berries, and Vermont cider maple syrup.
This buffet earned an A+ just based on beauty alone. The beet ravioli…genious! It did not prove as bold in flavor as it was in color, but once I added the salad to the beet bite, it was pretty close to perfection. While at brunch, some one tweeted to methat if they didn’t serve us french toast, I should demand it. Luckily I didn’t have to do that. And yes, it was absolutely delicious, the thick challah bread standing up to the perfectly balanced batter.

Beverages provided by Brix in South Boston

I would be remiss if I did not point out the delightful conversation that happened during this brunch. Like any good meal should do, our brunch at Baker’s Best created the perfect atmosphere for enjoyment. And it wasn’t over yet! When it was finally time to leave, the farewell committee had these adorable containers of multi-flavored whoopie pies for us to take home. Carrot cake, peanut butter fluff, peppermint, chocolate and red velvet whoopie pies better than any I have had were the perfect au revoir!Michael, Phylis and the rest of the Baker’s Best crew put on an unbelievable event for the Boston Brunchers. I have no doubt that their professionalism, passion and creativity pours into every wedding, bar mitzvah, oscar party, and office breakfast that they cater.

12 Winter Birthday Party Ideas

treat-cupcake-bar.jpgToday, Jennifer (also of Hey Girl Momma Go) shares 12 ideas for winter birthday parties (that go beyond the bouncy castle):

I actually don’t mind indoor jumpy houses and long inflatable slides. I have even grown to appreciate the “fun” in large singing mice, cheesy pan pizza, and gobs of tickets that propel out of game machines like a crazy paper adrenaline rush. But as a parent who frequents the kid’s birthday party circuit, it is refreshing to switch it up. Here are 12 ideas for kid’s birthday parties that are great for the winter season (many are great the rest of the year too!).

1. The nostalgic Woburn Bowladrome north of Boston has bowling for kids that’s complete with a glow in the dark setting (the more white clothing the kids wear, the higher the glow factor). Young bowlers will enjoy the bumper lanes, good tunes, and small arcade for post-bowling games.

2. If you can handle the cooler temps, snow tubing at Nashoba Valley in Westford is great outdoor fun.

3. The birthday party package at Coco Key Water Park in Danvers includes admission for all kids, where they swim their little hearts out in a huge warehouse-sized lifeguarded water park. They also offer side rooms for pizza and cake and post-swimming arcade games. If you want to party on the fancy side, you can rent a cabana that’s poolside. (Also, FYI — for a fun family outing, Coco Key offers day passes. We went as a family one Saturday and had a blast.)

4. On the other end of the physical exercise spectrum, I’ve heard good things about Treat Cupcake Bar in Needham, where party goers can enjoy a cupcake decorating mini-class and decorate their own aprons.

5. For crafty types, check out Dabblers in West Concord, where you can focus your party around a range of hobbies such as woodworking, soap making, fiber arts, and science. And they make it one-stop shopping for party-planning parents by including invites, goody bags, and thank you notes in the party package. Awesome.

6. Kidstock is wonderful for budding thespians.

7. The MFA offers lovely creative and educational birthday parties.

8. Pottery painting provides a great hands on activity where the project doubles as the party favor. Team Boston Mamas has had great experiences at Clay Dreams, Made by Me, and Plaster Fun Time. It would also be worth checking whether Barefoot Books offers birthday parties in their lovely studio.

9. If you want to blend outsourcing + being at home, the New England Aquarium will bring sea critters to you.

10. Obviously, outsourcing can get pricey, particularly if you have a large party size. If you have the energy and space to host at home, dance parties are great. Simply put the kids in a finished basement with the Cha Cha slide blaring and a disco ball, and you’re good to go.

11. Also in the home spectrum: host a “pretend” sleepover with pizza, cake, PJs, and a movie (note, however, that this does not work when it’s your daughters entire kindergarten class — I learned that one the hard way!).

12. Finally, there’s always the beautiful simplicity of sending the kids outdoors. Tell attendees in advance to bundle up and plan a scavenger hunt or simple games like freeze tag and dodge ball. If there’s snow on the ground, gather your old beach shovels and pails so the kids can build snow forts. And make a big batch of hot cocoa to help the kids warm up when they come in!

Do you have other awesome winter party ideas? Feel free to share them in the comments below!

It’s all about the foundation

I was never much of a liquid foundation person. I used Bare Minerals through high school and most of college, but the past couple of years have experimented with different powders, tinted moisturizers for summer (Laura Mercier is my fave), and now liquids.  As I get older (lol), my skin has been changing, and I’ve noticed a difference in needing a liquid for dryer, winter months.
My mom started using Givenchy’s Photo’Perfexion, and when she bought a shade too light for her skin, I benefied and became hooked. I love the lightness, how it’s fast absorbing, and it has a nice smell. Without a Sephora gift card, I really can’t justify the price.  I recently tried Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation and am now hooked on a product for under $10! It seems nearly identical to me with a similar light coverage and smell.

Maybelline: $6 vs. Givenchy $47

What type of foundation do you use? What’s your splurge and save?

My New Favorite Number – 22 & My Foodie Penpal

Monday is an amazing day of the week.  Don’t you all agree? Don’t you all love Mondays?   Well, I am LOVING Monday today.  It has been pretty much the best Monday in a while, maybe even the best day I have had in weeks so I am going to smile from ear to ear and grin happy and soak it up.  Other days may have disappointments ahead but today I am hopeful, happy, and very very thankful.

So why is this Monday amazing….well there is this

Today is a VERY good day as Girl Scout cookies are involved…

and there is this…

What do you want to celebrate with post ultra-sound? I know what I want!

and this…

Running today! Doctor’s orders!

And this

This shirt

Will soon have a matching skirt like this girl’s.  Janine offered to make me one agreed after I stalked her.  Janine maybe we should go in business together,  I will sell the shirts and you the skirts

BUT most of all there is this….

My excited face post ultrasound

So did you guess yet, why 22 is my new favorite number?  Welp, if you have not, I will try to contain my excitement as I tell you that is the size of my follicle! 22!!! YAYYYY.  This is BIG news because it means that I am really close to ovulating.  We need a follicle to be about 22 before they can trigger ovulation.  So this is great.  The doctor could trigger ovulation now but my uterine lining is 5.  They want 6.  The thought is that I will ovulate on my own but just in case we go back on Wednesday and if I have not ovulated they will give me a trigger shot of hcG!  I was so excited I almost cried.  The doctor was so proud of me and was like “Go Steph, way to grow that follicle! You did a good job.”  And I was like yay for two eggs (the actual eggs you eat I mean) a day and lots of fat and sitting around.  Aaron told me “way to negative split.”  It works in this context, sure. To say I am excited is a bit of an understatement lol.  I am riding the up side of the roller coaster right now.  Just hoping it keeps going up.
OK, in other news, foodie penpal day!   Have you heard of this?  The awesome Lindsay of the Lean Green Bean puts it on and it is just what it sounds like.  You sign up with Lindsay (all are welcome readers and bloggers) and you get a pen pal. You then send your pen pal gifts.  At the same time you are sending gifts, someone else is sending you gifts as well. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.  It is not expensive, you are not supposed to spend more than $15, but people make good use of the money.  This month I received a wonderful package in the mail from Maggie.  It was perfect timing.  I was in a bad mood that day and needed a pick me up and Maggie gave me a great big smile.    I must really display my love for PB and my big protein and fat push because Maggie hit the nail on the head with peanut butter galore and I was ecstatic
I was so excited about these. Did not even knew they existed.  Perfect because I have had to give up a ton of my favorite granola bars, including the PB nature valley in favor of just protein snacks. I was so psyched for this.

Again something I never knew existed. Instant peanut butter! Really! I can’t wait to try this in a smoothie because where else.

Besides this I also got some amazing other goodies, look at this stash

Chocolate, trail mix, a mug, fruit sticks, KIND bars.  IT was like Hanukah come early haha

Thank you so so much Maggie! And thank you Lindsay for organizing this great event.
That is it for me folks.   I have things to do, a follicle to grow, you know how it is… :)
Give me some good foods I can eat on my non-fiber days and tell me what was good about your Monday.

Where Our Salt Comes From: Top 10 Foods

Take the salt shaker off your table … you don't need it.

The Centers for Disease Control came out with a list of the top 10 salt culprits in our diet.  You might be surprised to learn that the number one food source is bread!

Even I went hunh … I wasn’t expecting that … here’s the list of the top ten salty foods

  • Bread and dinner rolls
  • cold cuts and cured meat
  • pizza
  • poultry
  • soups
  • sandwiches
  • cheese
  • pasta dishes
  • meat dishes
  • snacks like potato chips & pretzels

The CDC also said the average American consumes 3,266 milligrams of salt daily and that’s before we hit the salt shakers on the dinner table.  Our goal should be no more than 2,300 milligrams a day and if you are over 51, have high blood pressure or diabetes it should be no more than 1,500 milligrams.

One in three adults in the US have high blood pressure and this can lead to things like heart disease and stroke.  We really should be paying attention here.  How do we cut down on salt intake?  Easy …

Limit starches to no more than four servings a day, you don’t need the starch anyway, it has relatively few nutrients, but you knew that already.

Increase fruits and veggies, sub out some starches for something healthier, produce has zero salt, lots of vitamins and minerals and is quite tasty.

Ditch the salt shaker. My parents took the salt shaker off the table in the 1970s and I’ve never looked back.  Salt is an integral part of cooking and flavor, but you don’t need to add a lot to get good flavor and you don’t need it on the table.

Cook from scratch. You will always add less sugar, fat and salt to a recipe than a commercial food manufacturer will.  They doctor up ingredients that will be sitting on shelves for a while with palate pumping substances so we don’t realize we’re eating crap.  The more you cook from scratch the healthier your diet will be overall.

Start reading labels. Salt sneaks up on you, it’s in all kinds of things you wouldn’t think of, from pasta sauce to ice cream, read the labels to make sure you’re in safe limits for you.

Consider these easy changes and live a better life.  Do you check your salt intake?  Do you read labels and glance over the salt?  What’s your favorite salty treat?

Cheers,

Lisa

Healthy, Quick and Delicious Chicken Soup Recipe

Hey everyone! I hope your Monday was awesome. Mine was pretty good. I can’t complain. It was busy and I was kind of dragging from vacation but I managed. Breakfast this morning was a Svelte cappuccino protein drink (full review to follow) and a large coffee with half and half. By some miracle I only  drank half of my coffee and still managed to function all day.

Lunch (unpictured due to how rushed I was) was a greek salad topped with grilled chicken and fat-free dressing. Since we were out-of-town all last week, I didn’t have any groceries and I had intended on going to the cafeteria salad bar at the school I work at. However, I was saddened to find out that the produce truck broke down this morning when it was supposed to be delivering my salad ingredients. BUMMER! Luckily there is a little restaurant around the corner that I could get a pretty healthy lunch at :)

Today flew by. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that it was the first day back from vacation and the fact that I have a HUGE to-do list. I headed right from work to the grocery store to stock the FFF fridge. Nothing makes me happier than a house full of food, the possibilities are endless. I knew that I wanted to go to a 6:30 pm spin class tonight, so I prepared dinner beforehand that way it would be waiting for me after my workout. I had a craving for chicken soup and it is one of Adam’s favorites so that is what I made.

ingredients:

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 ribs of celery sliced
  • 5 carrots sliced
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 bag of spinach (washed)
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh parsley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 cups of low sodium and low-fat chicken brother
  • 8 oz. of whole wheat noodles or pasta (I used elbows)
  • 2 tbls. olive oil
  • 4 cups of water

1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and add veggies, parsley and bay leaf. Sauté until the veggies are tender but not browned. (about 5 minutes or so)

2. Add the broth and water and bring to a boil.

3. Add three chicken breasts and reduce to a simmer. Simmer until the chicken in fully cooked (about 15 minutes)

4. Take the chicken out and shred it with a fork.

5. Add the chicken back in as well as the bag of washed spinach and the pasta. Bring to a boil and cook until the pasta is soft.

I enjoyed a delicious bowl of chicken soup post-workout tonight!

My workout was entirely what I planned, but still pretty sweet. I learned today that I need to sign up for classes beforehand  at my local YMCA if I was to participate. Good to know! I haven’t been to a “regular” gym in about a year and a half since I had been focused on Crossfit and running outside until I broke my foot almost 8 weeks ago. Since those two activities are high impact, I have to change my workouts. Anyhow, I hadn’t signed up for spinning and the class was full. So instead I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and elliticaled (is that a word?) about 4.8 miles. It felt great and I was a sweaty beast!

I also did an ab workout:

  • swiss-ball crunches -3 sets of 15
  • Reverse crunches – 3 sets of 12
  • Kettlebell side bends – 3 sets of 12 on each side with a 20 pound kettlebell
  • wheel rollouts on the ab wheel- 3 sets of 8

The ab wheel looks so harmless doesn’t it?!

NOT EVEN CLOSE! It is a deceiving little devil. This little guy is tough and it works out your abs so well. I am pretty sure I will be sore in the ab are tomorrow!

Well, goodnight folks. I am off to read in bed!

Cuddles and Bubbles with Ben

Well kids, the hills are alive with the soundsof lovemaking this week on The Bachelor. It’s the creepy Fantasy Suite episode!
Tonight, I was down at Brian’s grandmother’shouse.  After explaining my Bachelor blogsituation, she insisted that we turn the train wreck on immediately.  Her thoughts on Bachelor Ben: “I wouldn’teven want to keep him in a closet, he looks like a moose.”
Amber, my equally sarcastic sis, guest bloggedNikki’s date for me this evening, here she is with her short recap:
Ben meetsNikki in a lovely field with goats in Switzerland. They enjoy a picnic and then a helicopter swoops in and whisks them tothe top of the Alps. I was just waiting to see Julie Andrews out of the cornerof my eye, spinning in a circle and singing at the top of her lungs, but nodice. All kidding aside, it’s freaking beautiful up there.
They landthe helicopter on the edge of a cliff (literally the edge, it looked like itwas gonna fall to a fiery death). And have yet another picnic – whatever Nikkiis super cute and bubbly and normal and Ben will probably screw it upanyway.  Then they go to a log cabin andNikki gets an invite to spend the night with creepy Ben. Nikki, who nowunderstands she’s going to have to go through with this staying overnightsituation gets really liquored up and jumps in the hot tub professing her lovefor him. So I’m guessing she’s goin home…
Okay, Rhi is back…
If Ben jumped off a bridge would you?
Lindzi, who really needs to get her roots doneand fix a few flyaway hairs, trots towards Ben awaiting her next Bacheloradventure.  The producers must reallyhate this poor girl because she’s in for another death defying drop!  At least she’s allowed to keep most of herclothes on this time. Instead of jumping out of a helicopter, she gets torepel 300 feet down a gorge.  Aren’t wepast the adventure dates yet?  Oh and Benlovers, if you swooned over the beefcake in a cowboy hat, wait til’ you see himin a rock-climbing helmet with a camera mounted to the top of it.
After Lindzi makes it to solid ground she’sinstructed to disrobe and immediately get in the Swiss hot tub.  After a sensual soak, it’sdinnertime, and Bennie boy is wearing a bow tie to the table.  Once again, the dinner conversation isriveting.  He repeatedly congratulatesLindz on being really “open” and “vulnerable”. Is this all this guy has to talkabout?
Before he lets her eat anything, Ben immediately handsher an invitation and an antique key and invites her to stay “as a couple” inThe Bachelor fantasy suite.  “As acouple” is ABC’s way of teaching teenage girls watching The Bachelor to onlyaccept keys to fantasy suites if you’re going to be “doing it” as a“couple”.
Don’t you wish every one-night stand or bedroominvite happened like that?  There youare, overserved and slurring outside a bar with the dude you’ve been sloppilykissing in a corner most of the night, when he hands you an antique key and aninvite to his “fantasy suite.”
While America cringes and hides under their coffeetables, Lindzi announces that she likes where this fantasy suite date it isgoing, Just when you think the camera is going to pan away and we can allimagine Ben and Lindzi making baby colts in the Swiss adventure suite, we get avoyeuristic view of Lindzi and Ben’s lovemaking.
Hey Cow!
Oh, hello! Courtney and her baby voice are onthe loose in the Swiss Alps.  Ben has planneda “Swiss” date for Courtney that includes a train ride and you guessed it, apicnic!  Meanwhile, somewhere on a horsefarm in Florida Lindzi is throwing things at her television.
After the train ride, while Court & Ben areenjoying their 3rd picnic together of the season, Ben shows off his“garden gnome” jig.  Ben also tells Courtabout this awesome game he and his sister used to play called “Hey Cow”.  To participate in a game of “HEY COW” onemust simply scream “HEY COW” at poor helpless grazing cows and if they turnaround, you win.  Ben’s evil little game kindof reminded me of a game my sister and I used to play called “sock balls”. Thepremise of “sock balls” is simple:  take offyour socks, roll them into balls and throw them as hard as you can at eachother.
Forgoing their Rooms
So Ben & Court talk about her bad behaviorand then she gets handed the key to the fantasy suite.  They then go back to North Conway’s log cabinAdventure Suite and make out in a barrel.
Question: Is Ben bored with thesegirls, void of a personality or just plain stupid?   Maybe he’s just a perv that went on The Bachelorto have 3 guaranteed nights in a “fantasy suite” with 3 very hot ladies.

Outcome: Like the spoiler alert I read 3 months agosaid, Lindzi and Courtney get the rose. Looks like Nikki’s back to cleaning teeth.
